About Shawn
I live on a small island in the Indian Ocean. Although my native tongue is not English, I have spent the majority of my life using it as my first language so I am fluent. I enjoy many activities such as surfing and going to the gym. I also code during my free time. My current highest level of education is A level, where I scored 4A*s. During the first 3 months of 2022, I spent my time teaching combined science at a private school at year 7 and 8. Most of the 100 students loved my classes and still miss them to this day, which makes me feel like I can be a great part-time tutor.

I like to have fun while teaching. I believe that even a few good(or dad) jokes and stories, can help a child grow in both knowledge and their ability to use what they know. Teaching to me is about sharing an experience and relating to your subject.
