About Alyssa
Hi! I'm Alyssa (but you can call me Lyss).
I am a 20yo musician/vocalist/solo artist based in South West Sydney.
I have been a vocalist for 6 years now, 2 of those years were spent studying and acquiring my Bachelor of Music at JMC Academy.
I am self taught in ukulele and have been playing for 8 years.
My biggest passion has always been music and I take pride in being able to share my knowledge with others to help them strengthen their skills in the creative industries :)

I studied as a vocalist at JMC Academy for 2 years and graduated with a Bachelor's Degree in Music (with a specialisation in Contemporary Performance).
Through my studies, not only did I better myself as a musician/vocalist and improve my vocal skills, but I also took classes on how to set up my own lessons and work well with young students.
My teaching methodology consists of finding the specific vocal style of my students. With this, I am able to help teach proper technique both in theory and practice, with lessons catered to my students strengths and weaknesses to build both confidence and skill.
My lessons are typically made for students around ages 10-16.
The average length of my lessons are around 1hr. This being said, I am also more than happy to provide lessons with extra time for my students. It all depends on what works best for them :)
