About Freddie

As a founding member and former president of the Lancaster German society, I have a real passion for encouraging others to learn and develop their language abilities, which I believe is a core skill in an increasingly globalised world. Languages allow people to connect and immerse in other cultures in a unique and personable way. It also provides a real sense of achievement, particularly when one eventually visits the country itself and puts their learnings into practise!

About the lesson

Online lessons will focus on improving the 'natural' side of the language, helping the student to prepare for real life conversations with natives, as opposed to standard textbook practise. I learned this myself whilst living and working in Germany, as well as during studies for my Bachelor's degree in German.
Lessons will be 1 hour sessions, tailored to meet the student's needs depending on their age and level. I have taught reading, writing and speaking to all ages from 10+.
