About Mickayla
I am a 5th grade math teacher who works in a high-needs school and I love it! I teach both small group, one-on-one, and whole group lessons daily. I am very familiar and comfortable with modifying lessons to the needs of my students. My student’s needs come first and I am dedicated to seeing EVERY child succeed, and that means YOU! I will always prepare lessons to better support you, help you with homework, and build your courage and confidence with math through affirmations and encouragement. My priority is your ability to do math and to help you develop a mindset that you are capable of being incredible at math. I will help you develop your skills in math as well as your skills in communication. I want you to feel confident expressing your answers and ideas with others. If you can teach another person, then you really know it! That is my goal for you.

The success rate of my kids has been phenomenal and my kids have become students who believe in the power of making mistakes and how they help us grow. Pencils have erasers for a reason!
