About Victoria
I have wanted to be a teacher since I was in second grade. I believe mypassion for math is evident. I have taken students from far below grade level to on grade level in just 3 months. I believe not only is it how I explain the strategies to them, but how WE do it together. Students need a teacher to model, do it together, and then that sets them up for success on trying it on their own.

I grew up struggling in math until 6th grade. I had a teacher who truly believed in me and sat down with me once a week before school started to help me on my level. From the day it started clicking with my 6th grade teacher, is the day I knew math wasn’t so bad. I want to be that teacher that will meet where my students are at and work with them until that ligjtblub goes off. That’s the day they will understand math is for them. Everyday in my second grade classroom, I get my students engaged, up and moving in math. The excitement and understanding they’ve gotten a hold of since September brings me joy.
