About Nikki
Hello! I’m NIKKI HALKO, an enthusiastic English Language Arts tutor with a unique educational background that fuels my passion for teaching. With an Associate Degree in Paralegal Studies from Pellissippi State, a Bachelor's degree in Legal Studies from Bellevue University, and a Master's in the Art of Teaching from Relay Graduate School of Education, I bring a wealth of knowledge and experience to my tutoring sessions.
Having transitioned into education three years ago, I can confidently say that becoming a teacher was the best decision I’ve ever made! I currently teach 7th and 8th graders in a Title I school, where I strive to create an engaging, supportive, and dynamic learning environment that caters to the diverse needs of my students.
My goal as a tutor is to empower my students to develop their reading, writing, and critical thinking skills, helping them to not only succeed academically but also to cultivate a lifelong love of learning.
