About Kelvin
After early retirement, I chose to continue working as a private tutor because of my enduring passion for teaching and my desire to apply the experience I have accumulated over the years to genuinely help students improve both their learning attitudes and academic results. I hope not only to see my students make progress in examinations, but also to help them learn how to think independently and how to face challenges with confidence.

I am a retired Mathematics teacher with over twenty years of experience in mathematics education in Hong Kong. Throughout my career, I have taught students of diverse abilities and backgrounds, including those with weaker foundations who require additional support, as well as students who seek to further improve their academic performance and confidence in Mathematics. I am committed to helping students develop a solid understanding of mathematical concepts and effective problem-solving strategies. This enables them to apply what they have learnt flexibly and confidently, even when encountering unfamiliar question types. Lessons are conducted primarily in Cantonese, with supplementary instruction in English. The main teaching focus is on the lower secondary curriculum and the GCSE syllabus.
