I love sharing my skills and knowledge onto others. I don't have one set methodology when teaching as I believe all students require an individual approach. However, I do believe the best way of learning is by doing, that is why when I teach I try to get my students to try things, then explain why they work afterwards, what worked and what didn't. An individual lesson would usually last between 45 minutes and an hour, we would work on many different aspects of playing such as fundamental techniques, stylistic playing, theory and sight reading just to name a few. I graduated from The James Morrison Academy of Music in 2020 with a Diploma of Music (Specialising in Jazz Performance). I am currently studying at the Australian Institute of Music and completing a Bachelor of Music (Contemporary). I have performed with many ensembles and big bands. These lessons are for any ages, beginners and intermediate students are welcome. This would be perfect for beginners as well as high school aged students studying music.
