About Shelbie
I am passionate about helping others unlock, achieve and exceed their potential. Singing and working in the performing arts is where I am happiest and the reward that comes with seeing my students thrive is unmatched.
My second love is travelling, first and foremost because I love meeting new people and building connections. Combining my two passions for teaching and travelling has lead to me teaching in the UK, China and Australia.

About the lesson

First I like to establish what you would like to achieve from the lesson. Is there a particular song you’ve always wanted to sing or do you have an audition or performance coming up that you need to prepare for? Maybe you have never sung before and want to get more in tune with your instrument?
From there I will structure the lesson around you with the lessons lasting a minimum of one hour. We start with a vocal warm up and then move on to your focus areas. I ask all students to bring one or two songs with them so we have some material to practice with.
I aim to be flexible and adapt to your needs this way my lessons can be accessible by anyone.
I trained at The London College of Music and went on to complete my teaching qualification. Since then I have many years experience teaching performing arts throughout the UK, China and Australia.

Hello!
I really recommend Shelbie if you want to improve your skills or just relax and have fun singing.
We usually start with some exercises to relax the body and mind and carry on with proper voice exercises.
She gives me good tips to interprete a song I chose, so I can find my own way to sing it.
