I use a patient, sympathetic and understanding approach to tutoring and my teaching methodology is reliant on the excellent student's memory I have simple techniques to employ when teaching beginners to read music and play easy tunes. My motto is 'practice makes perfect'. My piano lessons usually last for 30 minutes but could last an hour if this is requested by the parent/student. I am an Associate of the London School of Music and have 25 years experience. I also teach music theory up to ABRSM Grade 8. The best age to start piano lessons is usually 6 years but this depends on the individual child. There is no upper age limit.
