About Eliot
I graduated from Otis College of Art and Design with a degree in Game and Entertainment Design. Before transferring to Otis, I spent a year at the University of Washington in Seattle, which gave me experience in both STEM- and art-focused education.
Since then, I've worked on developing games and even had the opportunity to publish one. Through that experience, I've become familiar with the game development pipeline and what it takes to turn an idea into a finished product. I am excited to share that experience with students who are interested in pursuing art, game development, or a career in the game industry.
Outside of teaching, I'm currently creating artwork for conventions like Comic-Con, continuing to develop my skills, and working on my own creative projects. I'm excited to share what I've learned from other artists and help students develop the skills and confidence to pursue their own creative goals.

I believe that each lesson should be unique and tailored to the individual. Everyone learns differently and has different goals. Whether you're trying to get into art school or improve your fundamentals, I'll adjust my approach to help you achieve what you're looking for.
My approach comes from my experience in art school and the indie game industry. I experienced the process of becoming a professional artist, and I will impart what I learned to you. Most importantly, I want to make sure I can answer any questions you may have. Curiosity and exploration are what make or break an artist, and I want to foster that.
A typical lesson would normally start with general updates and a check-in on your progress. From there, we can go over any drawovers, questions, or areas you're currently struggling with. I'll adjust the lesson as needed depending on your progress, goals, and anything you'd like to work on.
Between lessons, I'm also happy to answer quick questions or offer input on ideas you're working on. I want the learning process to extend beyond our scheduled lessons and encourage you to keep exploring and experimenting on your own.
