About

I am Amélie a current Music Therapy student at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama. I graduated from the Royal College of Music in 2024 with a first class honours and wish to use my skills to inspire musicians of any age to enjoy music. As a recent graduate from a conservatoire, I understand the challenges music sometimes brings to those studying it. It is, however, my aim to inspire confidence and enjoyment in learning an instrument or the theory behind music.

About the lesson

My goal for every student is to create a fun, safe and exciting space where music learning can take place without pressure or judgement. I make sure to listen to my students wants and needs to ensure they get the most out of their lessons and progress at the suitable rate for them. Having gone through the ABRSM grade system myself I am comfortable in setting students up for these exams, however have previous experience in other exam boards as well. Lessons follow a basic structure of scales, pieces and sight reading each week depending on the level of the student. I am also happy to teach online if this is more convenient. I usually teach either 30/45 minutes or an hour for each lesson.
