About Stella

I am a friendly and patient Spanish tutor who is passionate about helping everyone develop their language skills and confidence.

Whether you are a beginner learning Spanish for the first time or a student preparing for GCSE/A Level exams, I will provide clear explanations, structured lessons and plenty of opportunities to practise.

My lessons focus on building a strong foundation in Spanish grammar, vocabulary, pronunciation and conversation, while also developing the skills needed to succeed in exams. I take pride in helping students feel more confident using Spanish (and hopefully love the language as much as I do!)

I have studied and lived in Spain and graduated with an MA in Spanish in 2024 - so I remember studying for my Spanish exams and how hard they can be sometimes.

About the lesson

My teaching approach is friendly and supportive - each lesson specific to individual needs. I normally offer 60 minute lessons - although this can be adapted if needs be. As someone with ADHD/Dyslexia, I can also help with specialised tutoring for neurodivergence.

I completed my Spanish GCSE and went on to study it at The University of St Andrews and also La Universidad de Alcalá (Madrid), so I know that exams can be tough - but I loved learning Spanish so much I chose to study it at university (graduated in 2024).

For those doing exams, I can help with:

- Spanish tenses/grammar
- Spanish vocab
- Oral exams
- Listening/reading exams
- Spanish essay writing about your chosen film/book
- Specialised exam help (AQA/Edexcel)

For those wanting just to pick up another language, I can offer help from beginner to C1 level Spanish!

Or if you just want to improve your conversational Spanish - I would love to help you.

I am happy to offer the actual lesson in both Spanish or English, just let me know your preference.
