About Ulani

I studied four years of English Language Arts and Creative Writing at the #1 Public University in the country! I've been a virtual English Instructor for almost 3 years now. This has been a very fruitful journey for me, the students I've had the pleasure of teaching, and their committed parents. I've also had many other endeavors alongside this one. I've worked full-time at a Creative Marketing Agency, completed an Internship at Amazon Headquarters, and have taken exclusive writing workshops. I'm confident that I'm the well-rounded, sharp, and experienced individual that you're looking for!

About the lesson

I'm an extremely patient and caring instructor who is more than willing to guide my students at their own pace! I have experience teaching a variety of courses such as Grammar and Mechanics, Public Speaking, Reading and Analyzing Literature, Creative Writing, and more! I'm familiar with different kinds of students from ages 8 to 13, those who may need drawing breaks, interactive learners, those with emotional struggles, visual learners, beloved talkers, and students who may just want to get straight to the point. One thing about my teaching method is that it thrives with students that I can connect with personally. That's why I always start with an introduction to who I am as both a teacher and a human being. I'd love to get to know you and meet you where you're at. Come as you are. I'm here to help!
