About Tammy
Hello! My name is Tammy and I graduated from Paxon School for Advanced Studies &the University of North Florida's Hicks Honors College. I recently have gotten accepted into New York University as I have over five years working in the education field, especially tutoring students from all ages to subjects. I have previous work experience mentoring students with intellectual and developmental disabilities.
I graduated with earning a teaching certificate in TESOL/TEFL as I am excited to tutor you and ensure you are able to not only pass your class but also learn the materials. I have helped failing students to graduate on time and secure employment to admissions into graduate schools. When I am not busy tutoring, I am occupied by cooking, learning new materials, spending time outdoors, etc.

I use various teaching method and techniques to help ensure that the student is able to excel in their classes. I often modify syllabus and class notes/powerpoints to make it easier for students to learn the materials and apply it in their daily lives. What sets me apart from other tutors is having over five years of experience working with students from all ages and subjects as well as intellectual/developmental disabilities. I have helped students that were failing to graduate from college on time with secure employment.
