About Joe
My name is Joe Brotherton, I am a theoretical physics graduate from the University of York where I graduated with first class honours and won the Founders Prize for best results in my year. I then went on to achieve a master's degree in nuclear fusion. I have almost 5 years tutoring experience throughout my degree and have tutored several GCSE syllabuses including AQA, OCR and Edexcel. I also have experience tutoring A-Level AQA and OCR physics. I love teaching as it offers me the ability to mentor students who are going through the same struggles many face in their academic career. I relish the chance to make a difference in a student's life and help on their path.

Whether that is exam preparation, exam revision, support with general classroom learning and homework, or maths booster sessions, I support students in achieving their individual goals. I use an extensive selection of resources to make learning fun and accessible to all students, whatever their needs. I also offer a 15 minute free consultation prior to any tutoring sessions. I have the flexibility of tutoring both at my own home, at the students' home or online lessons via Zoom.
