About Laura
I was born and raised in New York City and earned a BA in Psychology from Harvard University. After graduation I spent three months in Japan tutoring middle school students in English. Upon returning to the U.S. I worked as a management consultant for McKinsey & Company in New York. After McKinsey I moved to London to pursue a Masters of Arts in Musical Theatre at the Royal Academy of Music. I am currently a performer on the West End, offering tutoring services in English.

My tutoring sessions can be catered to your individual needs. Scheduling is flexible with sessions offered remotely over Zoom. Tutoring sessions are a mix of sharing best practices for writing and looking closely at the student’s current projects and work. I also offer essay editing and proofreading services, as well as college essay and admissions process consultations.
