His early years at the heart of the mountain have deeply inspired him. Armand began martial arts at the age of 12 due to the need for a family move to Bucharest, a violent industrial capital in the middle of the communist era. He practices Jeet Kune Do and Kung Fu Boxing South, under the teaching of Petrut Ion and Benea Ion (Armed Forces Officer) where he meets Bogdan Uritescu, a talented practitioner of Wing Chun and Jeet Kune Do who becomes his Chi Sao's main partner, sparring, exercises, training and his close friend. His passion is directed towards the elegant efficiency of Wing Chun which becomes his daily practice. Confronted with street fights, Armand, very quickly, makes his place in the neighborhoods of the city and he exchanged his knowledge to practice English boxing, Greco-Roman and Jiu-Jitsu. In 1983 he met Sifu Tang Sang * and took private lessons and internships in Hong Kong and Taipei. The army In 1990, during the military service, he returned as a soldier but, a month later, following his muscular interventions (to defend his comrades) he was appointed chief instructor of the whole unit. He teaches Wing Chun to 113 soldiers. In France In 1995, he taught in a public and professional way the Wing Chun and Mi Tsung, in the biggest Dojos of Bordeaux: Dojo of Aquitaine and Sochin Club. Armand repeatedly exchanges deep practices with Master Haku MICHIGAMI * and is accepted with great kindness by Sensei Guy BONNEFOND to practice his subtle Aikido at the Franco-Japanese Association. In 1998, he founded the Wing Chun Mi Tsung School Les Labyrinthes du Printemps Radieux located next to the Jardin Public in Bordeaux. Following the advice of Sifu Tang Sang, this school considers Mi Tsung (the surprise aspect, literally: "The Deceptive Fist") as an internal part and perfectly integrated into the Wing Chun school. The same year, he chairs the Academy of Martial Arts and Oriental Culture AAMCO in Paris.
