Hi! My name is Leah, and I’m a Graduate Law with Criminology student with a passion for helping others succeed in their studies. I achieved an A in A-Level Law, which sparked my interest in pursuing a career as a solicitor. As someone who has recently been through the same journey, I understand the challenges A-Level students face and how daunting the subject can sometimes feel. My approach is student-centred, supportive, and designed to simplify even the most complex legal concepts. I’m committed to helping my students develop confidence, master exam techniques, and achieve their goals. I offer both online and in-person lessons in Liverpool, and I’m happy to travel to surrounding areas for an additional fee. Whether you’re looking for help with specific topics or exam preparation, I’m here to guide you every step of the way. My Approach to Tutoring As a Graduate Law with Criminology student who achieved an A in A-Level Law, I aim to create a supportive and engaging learning environment tailored to the needs of each student. Here's how I approach tutoring: Teaching Techniques and Methodology = Tailored Lessons: I assess each student's strengths and areas for improvement to create personalised lesson plans. - Simplifying Complex Concepts: I break down challenging legal principles into manageable parts using real-life examples and case studies to make them easier to understand. - Interactive Learning: My lessons encourage active participation, including discussions, quizzes, and problem-solving exercises to help solidify knowledge. - Exam Focus: I provide guidance on exam techniques, such as structuring answers and managing time effectively, and offer practice with past papers. Lesson Length - A typical lesson lasts 1 hour, but I am flexible and can adjust the length to suit the student's needs. Qualifications and Experience - I have a strong academic background, including achieving an A in A-Level Law and my current studies in Law with Criminology. - Previous tutoring experience My lessons are designed for: - A-Level Law students of all abilities who want to improve their understanding and performance. - Students preparing for exams - Those needing help with specific areas of A-Level Law, such as criminal law, contract law or tort law. - I offer both online classes and in-person sessions in Liverpool, with the option to travel outside Liverpool for an additional fee. My goal is to help students build confidence, deepen their understanding of the law, and achieve their best possible grades.
