About Felix
Hi all! My name is Felix, I'm an incoming math grad student at Tufts University -- I recently graduated from Williams College where I studied mathematics. In addition to taking over 20 courses in math/stats/cs in college (that's a lot), I have also spent two summers as a math researcher, I've spent two years as a college teaching assistant, and I've tutored other students in math for over 5 years. I love sharing my knowledge and enthusiasm for math with others, and have acquired many teaching skills and approaches for different learning preferences over the years. While college-level math is my most recent experience, I have years of experience teaching algebra 1 and 2, geometry, trigonometry, calculus, and SAT Math prep. I tailor my lessons to each student’s needs, focusing on building strong foundational understanding and problem-solving skills. A typical lesson includes a review of key topics, followed by guided practice and discussion of challenging concepts.
