About Billie
I am a graduate medical student in my fourth year of medical school at St Georges University, I also have a first class degree in Biomedical science from The University of Edinburgh.
My A-level grades were A* Psychology, A Biology and B Chemistry. I achieved 13 A*-B grades at GCSE.
Previous tutoring experience mainly involves science GCSE where my student went from a U to a 4 grade (equivalent of a grade C). I have also helped students to prepare for the GAMSAT.
I have a 100% success rate at interview from 3 medical schools (SGUL, Swansea and Glasgow). 2 interviews were panel interviews and 1 was MMI so I am familiar with a range of formats. I am happy to share hints and tips, go through model answers and run mock interviews.

I am available for Biology and Chemistry tutoring for GCSE and Biology tutoring for A-level. Usually my approach with these sessions is to go through common past paper questions. Through this gaps in the students knowledge can be identified and these areas can be revised together at the students own pace with the student able to ask any questions.
I have a wide experience with primary school age children including helping with homework, reading, spellings and maths these sessions are usually guided by the learning style of the child and from input from parents. Flash cards for times tables and spellings are often a useful learning tool.
In addition, I am available for GAMSAT and medical school interview preparation.
