About Helen
I am a graduate in languages and English from Monash University. I am also an exhibiting painter. I have taught students from many cultural backgrounds at both secondary and tertiary levels. This has always been enjoyable. As a speaker of languages other than English, I know how important it is to have constant practice to retain your levels of confidence and competence, and to develop these constantly so that students retain their interest in learning English or any other language. My aim is to make sure students remain optimistic about language learning and to remind them of the benefits they bring both personally and to their future professional lives.
