About Devyn
I received my Bachelor of Arts degree in Mathematics from Mount Saint Mary's University in Los Angeles, California. When I was in second grade I stared the Kumon Math Program. This gave me an interest in mathematics and was studying mathematics a year above my grade level in Middle School and High School. At the age of three I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD). This is why I enjoy working with Special Needs students and can help them find techniques for studying mathematics that work for them.

I will use a teaching technique that appeals to all students. My typical lesson plan will consist of reviewing concepts covered in class. This will allow students to ask me questions on content that they are having a difficult time understanding. I will then go over homework problems step by step with them as well as help students find a technique that best helps them prepare for assessments. At the age of three I was diagnosed with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), so I am comfortable and enjoy helping students who have disabilities. My lessons will be geared towards Middle School and High School students.
