About Georgia
I am a graduate student studying at the University of Queensland with experience in the classroom as a teacher's assistant, in private tutoring and in mentoring. At the moment I am working towards completing an Honours degree in History. My best subjects in school were definitely the humanities, but also attained high grades in Maths and English. I taught and coordinated a children's church class for three years. Currently, I tutor through a tuition company in learning assistance for grades prep-12 and assignment assistance for high school students.

I have a passion for teaching and love helping students become the best possible version of themselves in all aspects of life! My lessons are geared towards students who have difficulty learning in a classroom environment and need that extra one-on-one support. I focus on identifying and addressing learning gaps to ensure that my students are confident in their own abilities. For assessment work, I read through the criteria and discuss with the student so they understand exactly what their markers are looking for. I also help students develop an action plan for their workload to make sure that all assignments are completed to the best of the student's ability with minimal stress.
