About Bex
I am a very extroverted individual who gets very excited when it comes to education. I started school at 3 years old, and continued through college. When I was in high school, I did a program called Running Start where I attended college as a dual enrollment option. I had already chosen what I was going to study at state college, and I graduated high school with the equivalent of an associates degree.
During college, I worked in health care as a direct provider for adults with intellectual and developmental disabilities. This experience truly elevated my ability to connect with individuals, especially those who do not communicate verbally.
Currently, I work as an Accounting Manager for a Laser Manufacturing company. Ultimately, I decided that healthcare was not the route I wanted to pursue. With that being said, my passion for education has lead me to be able to learn any job that I find interest in, and excel at it without giving a second thought.

I am a person focused instructor, so I start by asking where you feel the most confident and why . Then we will move to the topics that you are struggling with, and build a plan together.
I ask that you provide me with a list of the current topics that you are learning, so I can be prepared with a lesson plan. If you know your learning style, that is a plus because then I can cater to your educational needs.
Tutoring is offered primarily for grades K-12. If you are in college, I may be able to provide tutoring for you as well, however the topic range will be limited to my educational experience.
I like to celebrate the victories of people that I support, and build self-assurance within the individual. If you believe in yourself, anything can be accomplished.
