About Lara

I love teaching all ages and stages and have been in some form of teaching role for over 25 years. I come from a strengths based and bicultural perspective which focuses all learning in a positive mindset. I view all learners as competent and capable. Sometimes there just needs to be some unlearning of negative thinking!

About the lesson

I take a global approach, looking at what is easy, what is difficult and an assessment on how you best learn and tailor lessons around building content knowledge, skills and the key competencies of the NZ Curriculum. This means my students fast develop the ability to transfer their learning across other academic subjects and life learning in general
