About Bruno

After two years of introduction to early music at the CNSM in Paris with Eric Bellock, I joined André Henrich's lute class in St Maur. In parallel I accompanied Julie Hassler's class of baroque singing at the 11th century conservatory in Paris. After various experiences in baroque orchestra (Ojif, ensemble sylène, orchestra of Versailles ...), I joined the old music class of the CRR of Boulogne with Miguel Henry.

About the lesson

Former student of classical guitar at CNSM in Paris, it is thanks to the workshop of introduction to the lute of the lutenist Eric Bellock within this conservatory that I discovered the deep and serious sonorities of the theorbo as well as those soft and crystalline the lute. Accompanying instruments ideal in operas of the Baroque period, I was able to participate in various projects of chamber music on various programs as part of my studies in early music at the CRR Saint-Maur and the CRR Boulogne ranging from the Italian Renaissance repertoire (Claudio Monteverdi, Corelli, Henry Purcell, JS Bach, JB Lully) to French Baroque. It is within the summer internships Accordissimo that I had the pleasure to introduce the young guitarists to the practice of the basso continuo and its realization as well as to the study of the various treatises of ornamentation.
