About Kyle

I am a visual artist from Northern California, I was recently recognized as one of the top emerging artists in the Central Valley by the Carnegie Art Center. I received my Bachelor's in Fine Arts (BFA) from Cal State Stanislaus. I was accepted into my Master's in Fine Arts (MFA) at the University of Idaho on a fully funded teaching scholarship. My practice is a combination of mixed media work that explores the relationship between society and the environment through landscapes. I work in a representational style. I have shown internationally and across the country, and my work is in various public and private collections.

About the lesson

My lessons are very self-guided and casual. My time in art school has taught me that this is the best way to truly foster creativity and growth as an artist. This doesn't mean you will be teaching yourself; this means that I'm going to provide all the knowledge I have on whatever topic interests you that day.

If you want to start from 0 and learn the basics, I'll provide a structured program that will build upon other lessons and result in a finished piece of art. I'm also here to help if you want to lead a new material, or refine and improve upon what you already know.

If Art School is your goal, I'm ready to help you with portfolio review, advice, stories, and help with the written components. Contemporary art doesn't have to be scary, I'm here to help!
