About Corayma
Hi! I'm a dedicated and experienced tutor with a background in Exercise Science from Rutgers University and am currently in Physician Assistant (PA) school. As the older sister of four, I’ve spent years helping my siblings with their homework, which shaped my passion for teaching and mentorship. I understand the challenges of learning complex material, especially in the medical field, and I’m here to help make that journey smoother. My approach is centered on visual learning, repetition, and mnemonics, ensuring that students don’t just memorize facts but truly grasp and apply concepts in a meaningful way. My teaching method is highly visual, repetitive, and mnemonic-based, ensuring that complex concepts are broken down into digestible, easy-to-remember components. I use diagrams, charts, flowcharts, and mind maps to reinforce key ideas, alongside spaced repetition and active recall to solidify learning. Additionally, I incorporate mnemonics and real-world applications to help students retain information more effectively.
You will send me an email about the topics you are struggling with. I want to know your thought process, I want to see how you think about a problem, then I will tweak your mindset so you can get to the correct answer.
Lessons are designed for undergraduate and graduate-level learners, as well as nontraditional students who benefit from structured, visual, and repetitive learning methods with an emphasis on mnemonics and applied reasoning.
