My philosophical approach to tutoring involves empowering the student and making learning fun. The student has full control over the session while I am there as a moderator to make sure everything goes smoothly and to implement learning techniques. A typical lesson plan could be going over homework, a specific topic, test prep, or just practice problems that are made fun. What sets me apart from other tutors is that I understand what it is like to be tutored and what it is like to tutor. I know what is effective and what turns students off from learning. I also have graduate level education and mastery in subjects I teach. My lessons are for anyone K-12 and through the university level as well.
