About Elena
I began my violin studies in Madrid at the age of five. I completed my professional studies, receiving the End-of-Studies Award in violin performance, as well as the Extraordinary Music Prize of the Community of Madrid. Subsequently, I moved to London to pursue a Bachelor of Music degree at the Royal Academy of Music, and I came back to Spain in order to complete my Master studies.
Throughout all these years, I have received masterclasses by soloists and members of orchestras that are recognised internationally. Moreover, I have been a member of the National Youth Orchestra of Spain (JONDE) and other high level ensembles, where I have had the opportunity to work and perform with renowned musicians.
Making music accessible to every individual is something I am passionate about. With the aim to improve and broaden my skills to make it possible in educational and social settings, I obtained the LRAM Diploma, awarded by the Royal Academy of Music and the University of London. This certification demonstrates my ability to teach violin as principal study at every level through an approach in which both the fundamentals and the practical aspects of violin playing work side by side.
In addition to all of this, I have participated in numerous musical projects that aim to reach every individual outside of the concert venue setting, through workshops that promote creativity and musical expression. I have engaged in this kind of musical activities with students from a primary school in London, patients at the Royal London Hospital, people with learning difficulties, children with high musical talent, and also with others that are in difficult or social exclusion situations.

I offer private tutoring for exams and auditions, and conservatory classes for all ages. I intend for my students to improve their technical and musical skills while enjoying the learning process. I hold the LRAM (Licentiate of the Royal Academy of Music), issued by the Royal Academy of Music in collaboration with the University of London, which certifies my ability to teach violin as principal study at all levels through a training based on the fundamentals and the practical aspects of violin playing.
I also offer music theory, reading, and solfège classes.
Lessons can be carried out either in Spanish or in English.
