An experienced educator. I'm an English teacher with experience across every grade from kindergarten through 12th grade. I've worked in real classrooms with real students, and I know the standards, curriculum and expectations your school sets. That knowledge goes into every lesson.

Substitute teaching experience. As a substitute teacher, I've taught in many classrooms, subjects and grade levels, often at short notice. That work taught me to adapt quickly, connect with new students right away, manage a learning environment calmly and keep learning on track. I can meet students where they are, whatever their background, personality or learning style.

Trained in high-dosage tutoring. I also work as a high-dosage tutor. This is one of the most effective forms of academic support, and research shows it can greatly speed up student progress.
