About RONALD
I was born and raised in Pike County, Alabama, and have lived on the same property for over 50 years. I have real-world experience in the field of mathematics since I have worked in the farming, construction, and timber industries for several years before becoming a mathematics instructor. I enjoy spending time with family and friends when I am off. I am a member of Bethel Baptist Church in Fort Deposit, Alabama, where I enjoy playing the drums with our praise group each Sunday. I also enjoy spending time with my one and only granddaughter and inspiring her to become a wonderful young lady. I have been happily married to my wife for 36 years.

My name is Ron Floyd. I am very excited to begin a new chapter in my teaching career. I have taught mathematics in grades 6-12 for the past 11 years. During that time I have taught pre-algebra, algebra 1, geometry, algebra 2, pre-calculus, algebra with finance, mathematical modeling, and finite mathematics. I am happy to work with students with all backgrounds from those who wish to excel in mathematics to those who struggle with grasping mathematical content. We will work together to meet your goals through cooperation and ongoing practice. Whether you need help with your homework or you just want to learn something new.
