About Heather
I was a child that never understood the American system of teaching math. I grew up in jamaica so there methods of teaching was much more easier to understand and learn. Learning in a difficult country taught me new methods that i will be using to show students that they are many ways ti learn. I will also create a bond with my students to ensure that we can have a great environment to learn in, to also make sure that the students are comfortable talking to me about my teaching methods and what works for them.

Hi my name is Heather and i understand the difficulties on math, I use to struggle too, that’s why I know ghat there is different ways to teach a subject. If i teach something and the person is still having trouble, I will switch up my methods. I also understand that students have different learning methods. I am a visual learner so I will be mostly tutoring in that style. I will accommodate on each persons learning abilities so they leave the session without doubts.
