About Simon
I experimented with various study methods in high school while taking IB Higher Level Mathematics, and through this experience, I discovered that the most efficient and reliable approach is to first fully understand the fundamental concepts. Once the basics are mastered, I focus on applying those concepts to solve a variety of problems, which ensures strong performance in exams. I want to share the study techniques and insights I developed through my own learning with my students, and I am confident that those who learn with me can achieve excellent results.

I focus on building solid core concepts before moving on to advanced problems. A clear understanding of fundamentals is key to solving all types of questions and achieving high exam scores.
Lesson length: A typical lesson is 60 minutes, with the option to extend up to 2 hours through prior scheduling.
Qualifications: I studied IB Higher Level Mathematics, achieved a 1540 SAT score (800/800 in Maths), and am currently studying a Bachelor of Medical Science at Griffith University.
Student levels: I teach primary school, middle school, and high school students.
