About James
I got accepted to medical school this year and am thrilled to be headed towards being a physician. I believe that school is a necessary hardship that one must pass through to achieve their goals. The fun part is when you find out that learning about the natural world around us is actually quite fascinating, and I aim to do that in each one of my sessions. The human body, nature, chemistry, physics, and even microbiology are crazy interesting subjects that just need the proper teaching to show the true beauty and fun in learning them.

I primarly teach high school and college level pre medical courses, and can assist in MCAT prep and studying. I excel at helping understanding of hard to grasp concepts into stories that are retained with ease. We start with a review of materials and then work into practice questions or scenarios that help bring a full understanding to the material, then we finish we the full picture and tie the concept in to the overall subject material so it sticks like glue. I also can help with study tools such as anki. I believe what makes me a good tutor is that I take individual students and develop a good relationship to be able to understand concepts with depth and not just as a means to pass a class, but rather to set the student up in their future career or path to medical school.
