About Hugues
Graduated in fine art from the wood carving department at École Boulle Paris in 2007.
I have started my journey in New-Zealand with a work experience at Weta Workshop in Wellington.
Pursuing the path of figurative style back to France, I have settled in Melbourne since 2011 where I’m perfecting my style and accuracy towards the human form.
Recently wrapped up my solo exhibition at the Victorian Artist Society last May 2024, I am now offering art classes for adults willing to learn how to create something from nothing.
Working with Meridian Sculpture Foundry in Fitzroy, all finished works can be casted in bronze ( at the student expense) to be immortalised in this timeless metal.

Focused on human proportions on 1:1 scale, I offer the understanding of human proportions.
Studying the portraits, busts or hands on 2/30 hours classes.
All levels all ages.
Degree in fine art from Paris (2007) and already tutoring at the Victorian Artist Society, I offer hyper realism skills on eyes, skin and facial expressions.
