About Emily
Hi, I’m Emily! I haven’t always struggled in school but the moment I did I couldn’t keep up with those around me. I had to learn how to study effectively way too late into school as I never really was taught how. The demoralization of not knowing how to do one of my favorite subjects made me lose hope and lose enjoyment for learning new things. Once I figured it out, I realized how I was willing to study as the actual learning process became fun. Since I am aspiring to be a teacher I hope to help those around me that may or may not also be struggling in school to have fun learning or anything else they may need.

I like to approach private tutoring by gaining an understanding of how much a student already knows, enhancing their strengths as well as focusing on struggling areas to aid in their educational journey. By producing engaging and safe environments where students can freely ask questions, they may experience the thrill of learning and studying. Through this excitement, students are able to truly apprehend the content as well as knowing the tips and tricks on how to tackle every question.
