About William
Even though I majored in Math and Economics in school, I still struggled and had to work through challenging classes. This in turn gave me the skills to help other students push through challenges. I'm extremely patient, knowing that sometimes concepts don't click right away and need a different approach. Through being a peer tutor, I've worked with a wide range of students and abilities. I feel confident that everyone always took away something from the work we did. I truly believe everyone can be great at Math and Econ. It's just about finding the right approach for you.

I help each student learn a concept in its simplest form. From there, a student then has the bricks that when layered together allow them to tackle challenging concepts. I also make sure that the student is able to teach a problem back to me, feeling confident in each step they took. Therefore, this gives them the confidence to tackle new problems on their own. Typically I like to work through a problem a student is struggling with. After mastering this problem, I like to work through other examples. Just like in sports, repetition and practice leads to success with mathematics. I'm able to tutor middle school through college level math and economics courses.
