About Lu
I was born in a small village and grew up dreaming of seeing the world beyond the mountains. Through education and hard work, I earned my college degree and later completed a master's degree, inspired by the positive influence of my peers.
During college, I discovered my passion for cross-cultural communication when I helped my first foreign teacher adapt to life in China. This experience inspired me to major in Teaching Chinese as a Foreign Language. I worked hard to pursue my dream of teaching Chinese abroad and was fortunate to earn opportunities to teach in Australia and the United States through competitive programs supported by Hanban.
Teaching Chinese has remained one of the most rewarding parts of my life. I enjoy helping students achieve their language goals while learning about different cultures and perspectives from around the world.
Outside of teaching, I enjoy traveling during holidays, cooking, reading, practicing Chinese calligraphy, and spending time with family. I also love nature sightseeing and watching detective series. I believe language learning should be enjoyable, meaningful, and connected to real life.
