About Minami
I find it very interesting that Japanese don’t know about their own culture and history that much but what they do normally in their lives are very religious. It’s just too natural for them so some say they are non-religious. But actually our culture is based on this Shinto philosophy. To know about this can be the key to understand Japanese culture.
We do have very different cultures compared to western countries so it’d be interesting to learn!
I live in Australia for over 2 years and I felt so many differences in the aspect of cultures. I work at one of the amazing outdoor clothing shop in Byron bay, and I get to meet a lot of people from around the world. I love surfing and love to meet new people and expand my perspective so it’ll be very nice to talk to you through the lessons!

For people who like Japanese culture and keen to know about it more or people who want to learn Japanese!
I studied Shinto in uni which is the oldest indigenous philosophy of Japan. The beauty of Shinto creates our mind and culture but most of the Japanese people don’t know about this fact.
so what I offer as a lesson is to figure out the beauty of Japanese mind and we can learn Japanese through this talk! The lessons will be conducted by English or Japanese. Whichever you feel comfortable.
if You have some topics I’m happy to talk about it! About culture, history, language itself, anything about Japan. So if you are not that interested in learning Japanese, just want to know about this Japanese philosophy that’s completely fine! We can talk in English and dig deep.
It has to be fun and enjoyable when it comes to learning so what I offer is very casual lessons, like talking to your friends about it! So if you are keen to learn Japanese and you want it to be fun and casual, let’s talk!
