About Abdul
Hi, I’m Noor, and I’m passionate about nature, science, and adventure. I love to explore new places, learn new things, and challenge myself to overcome my fears. I enjoy creative writing and poetry, and I like to express myself through words and images. I have been tutoring secondary students for 4 years in Science, Math and English. I have helped many students improve their skills and confidence. I believe that learning should be fun, interactive, and meaningful. I use a variety of methods and strategies to suit each student’s needs, goals, and interests. I also encourage my students to be curious, creative, and critical thinkers. Before beginning to teach a particular concept, I try to elicit my student’s prior knowledge and activate their curiosity. I ask them open-ended questions that relate to the concept, such as ‘What do you know about fractions?’ or ‘How do you think plants grow?’. I listen to their responses and try to connect them to the new concept. Then, according to the student’s pace and level, I introduce the new concept using clear explanations, examples, and visuals. I check their understanding by asking them to repeat, paraphrase, or summarize the main points. The third step is problem solving. I provide them with guided practice and feedback, and gradually increase the difficulty and complexity of the problems. I encourage them to use rational and constructive thinking, and to explain their reasoning and strategies. Together, we solve problems and apply the concept to different situations.
