About Maia

Hello! My name is Maia, and I’m currently training to become a pilot. I’ve already obtained my first pilot licence, and as I continue working toward my aviation goals, I’m offering French lessons to help fund my studies. Teaching has always been something I genuinely enjoy. I’m passionate about sharing my language and culture, and I’ve had a lot of fun teaching French to my Australian boyfriend—it’s been a great way to see how people learn and what really helps them improve. For me, French is more than just a language; it’s a way of life that I love introducing to others. Whether you’re a complete beginner or looking to refine your skills, I tailor each lesson to your level and goals, making sure it’s both effective and enjoyable. I’m known for being patient and supportive, and I like to keep my lessons interactive and engaging, using creative methods to help you learn naturally and with confidence. Let’s start this exciting language journey together and discover the beauty of French!

About the lesson

What matters most in my lessons is that you learn through topics you genuinely enjoy, whether it’s aviation, history, marine life, or anything else you’re passionate about. This way, you’re not just learning French, you’re also discovering new things along the way. After each lesson, I provide clear and structured summary sheets with everything we’ve covered so you can review easily and keep progressing between sessions. I usually recommend one-hour lessons, as they offer the best balance between focus and efficiency. For younger learners, I include games and fun activities to keep things engaging and help them learn naturally. I’m 22 years old, curious about almost everything, and I truly enjoy connecting with people and sharing what I know. My goal is to create a relaxed and motivating environment where you feel comfortable learning and improving at your own pace.
