About Patrick

My name is Patric Endicott I just graduated in 2024 and completed Accelerated Mathematics Advanced (2023): Band 6 (93) and Mathematics Extention 1 (2024): E3 (42/50) so I still remember most of the content. I would like to teach to try to utilise my skills to teach from a more understanding based direction to help students fully understand what they are learning to build a good foundation allowing harder topics to be learnt properly. I would also like to create a healthy environment where students feel comfortable and not worried about their journey but just try to focus on improving themselves.

About the lesson

My name is Patric Endicott I just graduated in 2024 and completed Accelerated Mathematics Advanced (2023): Band 6 (93) and Mathematics Extention 1 (2024): E3 (42/50) so I still remember most of the content. I can teach any year comfortably up to year 10 and the lessons can go for as long as needed. I always strive to keep a positive approach to learning and to keep spirits up, maintaining a calm environment for students to achieve their best, avoiding detrimental consequences as I believe learning should not be a burden but a joy to oneself. I would be an enthusiastic tutor for all High school students, whether you're an unconfident Year 8 with very low capabilities in maths or a striving Year 10 for a Top HSC mark. If I was your mathematics tutor I would have a very understanding-based way of exploring the language of maths, which I believe is extremely important in the long-term for high mathematical achievements. My tutor Owen Tong at Real Value Tuition helped me realise this. My approach opposes applying a formula and hoping that will work for every question, but having the knowledge of why Sinθ +Cosθ=1, not just it does. I will explain further in detail of the parts of the syllabus that teachers at school briefly skip over. WHY F'(x) is the gradient of F(x). Things as such are VERY IMPORTANT. Overall, I believe I would be a passionate tutor that cares and builds a connection with my students and will have a significant impact on individuals mathematical journeys.
