About Danielle
I earned my Bachelor's in Biology from UCSB's College of Creative Studies in 2021, where I designed my own curriculum with an advisor. This flexibility allowed me to focus on marine science, ecology, and environmental studies. I’m currently looking into schools so I can get a teaching degree because, and I hope to one day earn a PhD, my “license to research.”

I use a comprehensive approach to learning that not only helps students improve their academics but also equips them with a range of effective study habits and strategies tailored to different subjects. This approach encourages students to develop adaptable tools and techniques that will support their learning both in and outside the classroom, becoming more independent in their studies over time, and fosters a life-long appreciation for learning across all areas of study. I typically tutor/support K-12 students in all core subjects (math, science, reading/writing) and for college students my primary expertise is in lower-div STEM courses. I have experience tutoring students in foreign language classes, humanities studies (i.e., history), and "soft" sciences (i.e., economics and psychology) but it is on a case-by-case basis.
