About Michael
I am a native speaker of Indonesian language, and was graduated from a teacher training college in indonesia. I founded an Indonesian language school in Yogyakarta, Indonesia in 1987, together with other 14 teachers. Before teaching Indonesian, I also taught ELT to Indo Chinese refugees on Galang refugee camp, Indonesia. I directed the Indonesian language school in 1995-2000.

I use ecclectic methods, but the most powerful instructional method I use is called the direct method, that is no translation and the learners will directly adopt the language without necessarily translating the target language. The class duration is 60 minutes/lesson, starting with beginners level (0) and end at advanced level (3). Each level requires 60 hours. These classes are designed for one on one interaction, but they can also accommodate maximum 4 students in one classroom of the same level.
