About José María
I am a guitarist of all contemporary genres, graduated from the Musicians Institute of Los Angeles in guitar and composition. I play electric guitar mainly, as well as acoustic and bass and drums. I started playing when I was 6 years old and I have had a long musical career. I love all kinds of music but my area of expertise is rock, blues, funk and reggae. All kinds of people are welcome to contact me and start the funniest stage of your life, which is knowing how to play the guitar, something that at first may be unattainable but if you follow my curriculum and my classes you will realize that it is much simpler. what it seems like! Anyone can play the guitar. In these classes we will see chords, scales and basic theory to be able to play your favorite songs in a short time. Classes are adaptable to any level or experience. If you are a beginner we will start at the beginning, it's that simple, what is a chord, locate the notes on the neck of the guitar, the parts of the guitar, rhythm and plucking techniques, etc... I adapt to any musical genre or song preferably. People with a higher level would receive rock improvisation classes, blues, etc…, learn to use the right hand to play varied rhythms such as reggae and funk, and a study curriculum of great guitarists such as Eric Clapton, Jimmy Hendrix, Eddie Van Halen, Slash, Etc… So don't wait any longer and learn to play like your idols!
