About Yuxi

I enjoy being able to pass on the knowledge I attained throughout my education to help others who may be experiencing the same difficulties as I did. I also think that seeing a student grow academically and reach their potential is extremely rewarding.

About the lesson

I have experience tutoring A level and Victorian curriculum maths. I believe that a tutor should not just provide answers to a problem, but should guide the student to reaching that solution and ensure that they can understand the necessary steps. I am also able to change the way they teach according to the needs of their students, as not everyone learns the same way. As a tutor, I will be non-judgemental and be patient, and supportive regardless of the academic level of their students.

Edith shows a correct understanding of perimeter and area. She also understands how to use the formulas of the area of rectangles and triangles. She might need to work on large-number multiplication, such as 12 * 20.
