About Mariya
My name is Mariya, and I’m a 17-year-old school graduate who truly understands how challenging English can be. There were times I struggled and felt like I wasn’t going to make it, but I pushed through those moments which helped me improve greatly and I achieved a B in AS Level English (9093). That experience is exactly why I want to teach. I know what it feels like to be confused, to feel stuck, and to keep trying anyway. I want to support students who might feel the same. I’m patient, understanding, and always willing to explain things in different ways until they click. My goal is to create a space where students feel encouraged, not judged, and where they can build confidence step by step, even when the subject feels tough.”
