About Indi
Hi, I'm Indi. I'm 19 years old and have freshly graduated high school, currently on my 'gap-year'. In 2025, I will be studying 'Bachelor of Screen Production and Media'.
I have spent the first half of 2024 in Italy as an au-pair and tutor teaching the family English and helping with general school subjects like maths, science and PDH.
During my high school years I was a tutor for other students, helping early mornings and after school in the library with maths, English and French.
I was also a proud member of French, Maths and puzzle clubs!
As a recent high school graduate, I believe I’m well-suited for tutoring. I have fresh insights into the current curriculum and understand the challenges students face today. My recent experience allows me to connect with students and share effective study strategies that worked for me. I’m eager to help others build confidence and achieve their academic goals.

I have a unique and efficient approach to teaching that focuses on understanding how my students think. This allows them to apply what they learn in their own ways, both with my guidance and independently. I recognize the four main learning styles and adapt my methods to fit each student’s needs.
During my time in Italy as a live-in nanny and tutor, I used picture books, fun drawings, songs, and color coding to make learning English engaging and memorable. As a math tutor, I employed various strategies for each concept, ensuring that once a student grasped an equation, we practiced extensively until they felt confident.
